When you tell them to "wait" they will stop moving... if they're in range of a fight they'll join in, but otherwise they'll just stand there like dummies. A good trick is to tap 'wait' twice in a row, it stops them charging off but lets them come help you out afterwards.
One thing: Points should be given for speed of finishing the game - When I managed to defeat king in first season I had the same ranking as in my second game where I took my time
Jukantos: Clutters + lure - start small nest, wait till first clutter appear. Try to replicate him as much as possible (hazard suit + high spawn limit help a lot). When you have enough clutters fire lure in a corner - they will all crowd in one place. Hit them , then hit small spawns again.
