A nice first work. But it's a real pain to play. The slow transitions between screen, the long death animation, and a balance totally off. Next time make some friends try it. The first attack speed upgrade literally doubles the ship's offensive potential. The boss attacks deal 1 damage while the asteroid 5 damage. Once you unlock the first boss just kill it a couple of time to farm easy money.
Hello! Screen transitions should take no longer than 0.25 seconds. Some upgrades are expensive to upgrade, so the first boss doesn't give as much money as necessary to kill the last boss, his damage is considerable for players who also have less experience in this style of play. I had some friends who tested, as written on the credits screen, some more experienced who found it easy, some less experienced who found it difficult. So I think the game was even more balanced with over 120 constructive comments from the players. :)
Since it's too slow at the benigging and can be quite annoying, make a few tries by placing a /2 multiplier to all costs.
Place a clickable button somewere that can be spam-clicked to give some boost to the train, this will add something to do other than waiting.
Rework the yellow bar thing, it is not intuitive. Add the reward when you reach the station and make the freight spawn on the ground where the locomotive can auto-pick up.
Don't make the upgrade window full-screen unless you need to.
It´s really just that slow at the beginning. As soon as you have a few steam tokens things get faster.
There will be more to do later on. Since I plan to implement some wagons that provide mini-games. The yellow bar fills after 100m and triggers several things like filling up freight and selling goods in Shop wagons.
The window needs that size for content that´s not live yet.
Sup guys! The new version with all you asked for is ready(sh).
I'm just testing it before pubblish it. If someone want to help(just playing it and report the bugs) just send me a PM.
