One issue I've had: I acquired the lightsaber (for lack of remembering proper name), then I equipped it and died on the next map to the Cyclops. When I respawned, I lost the saber. I still have the chest and the key, but I can't unlock the chest again.
I would have to say that a proper tutorial is needed. I didn't know what it meant to cut a line until level 10, where the only way i could beat it was by doing so. Even then, I could only figure that out by reading comments & watching the walkthrough.
Also, in the fifth world boss fight, I managed to knock the boss off the platform, but he didn't teleport; just stayed onthe lower level, and when I jumped down I died
Several of the bosses (coming to mind lighting sword and flaming skull) are somewhat cheap, in that if you're hit once by their chain attack, it'll keep hitting you until you die, regardless of health.
What is necessary to get the award for getting a kill with each weapon? Because I've gotten kills through all the direct weapons, and kills through all the side effects (poison, electricution via shield, thrown out by mine & other weapons).
It's an interesting concept -- I REALLY am a fan of the randomization you do -- but the game is handled to difficultly. Melee weapons have strange ranges, and if I have 3 guys on me while trying to use a melee weapon, I'm going to die because it won't kill ANY of the zombies I'm attacking.
Interesting. I enjoy most of your work. The only problem, is that there needs to be a way to remove the stats at the bottom (or at least the bottom left), because they obstruct things coming up from the bottom.
Good concept; however, it's too short, and not enough variety in ships. Plus the missiles are really finicky and hard to control. I was REALLY surprised when I found out by accident that you could infect a missile, though.
Mr. Nothing is an absolutely terrible boss. He'll gladly move to the bottom of the screen so you can't shoot him with your lasers, and whenever he DOES allow you to swoop below him, he will immediately fire bills to destroy a level of attack.
Very fun game. Just a few points that I found that might need improvement:
When you finish an interaction (usually when you finish a battle), and the screen with the fight/autofight/flee/surrender option, when that changes so that all that it shows is the button with "Go", if that button is pushed while the screen is still moving up and right, this can be exploited to skip encounters that occur fast enough (for example, using this on a guild mission where enforcers / mercs / buccaneers are after you, you fight every 1 in 2 attackers).
Also, while the warning for attacking mercs and Enforcers will hurt your reputation are useful, it's really tedious for them to pop up at the start of every single encounter, when you're aligned with the buccaneers and WANT a negative reputation.
Good songs, and I've liked this when I've played at other sites. However, several songs have an issue where they pause briefly right as the music starts, which makes it nigh impossible to get perfects on some songs; furthermore, many songs get out of sync with the music and make it incredibly hard to figure out the rhythm
There needs to be a way to skip words at a penalty or something, perhaps. I've never heard of some of these words or phrases before, and all I can do is mash on my keyboard. Also, after you lose and restart, sometimes it glitches and leaves the enemy as highly upgraded as it was in the previous game.
Very nice game. The only complaint is that you nee to have a better tool for removing pieces -- only allowing one undo space causes problems, when I want to remove a very specific piece, but I end up having to completely reset the bridge and build again from scratch.
Other than that, it's very fun and easy to use
