Well, I just got the hard mode badge and I must say this has been by far one of the most entertaining games I've ever played, but it feels lacking in replay value. Quests are fairly repeatitive and the generator dies out after a while (it was amusing once though because it left me trapped on an island in my starting point) especially with only having the grass area as a battlefield. If there was more variety in quests, like a dungeon crawling mode or pick an item while in a battle, this game could have much more variety. Upgrading only weapons is also limiting. If you could find and equip more items (healing ones would be nice, or armors with especial effects), or heck add a forging skill level to keep with the school theme, it would help to add to this replayability. This is still a very solid game, but it has a lot of room for improvement to be even better. The hidden button is in the credits btw.
Ah, it's been a while since I've seen a fairly original concept and this game uses said concept excellently while keeping a balance of challenge and fun without being overly difficult. Restarting from a 'checkpoint' if you mess up and no time limit really helped too. Also, very nice music. Amazing game!
I wish there was a 'colorizer' item in the market that allows you to change the color of your critter and its appendages to whatever you want. It's nitpicking but some people like myself dislike the colors they get for their critters sometimes.
