I find this game frustrating; I know I need to give Jeremy the glasses, but for whatever reason, after I click the glasses and then click on him, nothing happens. The crosshairs are yellow and everything. It's just as hit or miss with a bunch of the other items.
There was something really enjoyable about eating my surroundings. However, parts of it became tedious as I just waited for things to appear to eat them. It gets a bit repetitive.
It's kind of annoying when the teacher gives a hint for something I haven't even tried to make yet, since I try to go somewhat in order with the top items I can see.
Some of the levels are just too long. I got frustrated and stopped even trying to read the text or highlight all the words 'cause I just wanted to be done with it. I also wish there was a way to pause the game mid-level. Also, it was annoying that I couldn't tell the difference between black space that I could stand on and black space that would kill me.
Money seems kind of useless. Without even selling anything, I keep accumulating tons of it, but I don't really have anything to buy. And I don't really need any more upgrades since I'm only really using 2 guns, and they both have level 3 gear. The end result is that the game is too long 'cause now I'm basically just grinding through until I get to the end of the story.
This game would be significantly better with a better tutorial. It took me forever to realize that these "stars" I was getting messages about would let me upgrade my ship. I also basically have no idea what most of the icons/stats/things you can do in battle are.
It'd be nice if you could see what skills are selected for a level without having to go back to the main menu. Even better if you could even switch skills without having to go back to the main menu.
I had a lot of problems with the controls; my swarm would suddenly dash off screen for no apparently reason even though I'm sure my mouse remained in the game area. It was very frustrating. Also, there are only a couple of tips, and it gets annoying when they just repeat over and over again.
Am I missing something about the cards with the "Weaken" attribute? Do they only work on enemy cards of a certain type? I swear they seem to work when my enemy uses them, but I've NEVER seen them work when I use them against my enemy.
Both me and my opponent ran out of cards. He then destroyed all my attacking cards and I destroyed his last attacking card with the wall that does damage to units that hit my commander, leaving us both with no cards left to draw and no cards that could attack on the field. I had more health than him, but when the time out occurred I lost? How does that make sense?!
There should be upgrades you can buy outside of battles. That way if a level is too hard, you can go back, get more gold, and buy more upgrades to make it easier. It also might give me a reason to actually play the harder difficulties in a level.
OK, thank you, we'll think of how to adjust it.
