Oh look, all three of my bot teammates are standing in the corner, leaving me alone against creatures that can accurately snipe me from across the map while my weapons do a fraction of the damage to them that they do to me.
Garbage.
I enjoyed this game as a quick, simple shmup. It did, however, have flaws which bothered me. First, screen clutter: especially in later levels it is impossible to distinguish bullets from everything else shooting towards the ship, since tons of enemies are dropping tons of coins etc. to be drawn in. Second, the fact that the magnet powerup can lose traction on coins etc. was incredibly frustrating. Despite this I enjoyed the game.
I enjoy this game but I can't rate it higher because of the extreme use of fake difficulty. Example: the trucks. I need to kill 40 people with a truck? Cue fifteen seconds of abducting people out of trucks only to have the empty trucks race offscreen. Then I have to pick it up and drop it a dozen times because each drop has the massive truck daintily bounce off each individual person's head, one at a time. Except if I don't lift it high enough, it doesn't count, and too high, it goes on a roof. Then it explodes, giving no credit for the people slain by the explosion. So I get about four kills per truck. It's artificially difficult rather than genuinely so.
I wanted to like this, but the curve concept proved far more of a hindrance than a feature. It destroys predictability -- and any feature which causes my ball to, upon impacting my paddle, immediately turn to a zone out, is no good.
In response to those people who commented to me that one can get more helpers: You can. It's inordinately expensive (2000 for the first, 5000 for the second means you're not likely to see it any time soon) and they're relatively useless no matter what. Also, still doesn't change the fact that literally no available weapon is useful.
A pointlessly bad and unbalanced game in which no weapon has any sensible ability to kill anything and reload in time to save the castle. Other games of this genre succeed by having additional firepower, be it AOEs or additional manpower, but in this game you have only one useless helper and weapons that are literally impossible to defend with.
