The *ping* of Thieves returning with TP becomes headache inducing as your number and speed of Thieves grow. However turning off the SFX also means you can't notice the lack of sounds when your warehouse fills up. Either a change to the Thieves return sound, or the ability to mute just the Thieves would be nice.
"The Real Cost" Instagram ad for Sleeping does not seem to work properly, it asks you to watch a video, visit the site, then optionally share it. The instructions tell you to watch the video then skip the rest, but pressing 'skip step' just loops it back to the video. Neither 'skip step' or 'visit the site' allow you to get to step 3, which I assume is the one you need to skip to claim your reward.
Wow I tried to give constructive criticism, specifically about the Office upgrade for EXP and provided something relevant to my current gameplay, and got downvoted hard. What was that for?!
I haven't gotten any EXP bonuses yet, but I really think it could be replaced with an employee bonus, +1 employee EXP per business, maybe 5-10 office upgrades? I'd say having maybe 2 EXP bonus upgrade at level 6 would get you to or really close to level 7 by the time you hit 1 Vigintillion per business, at the 80 septillion per city facility bottleneck. I've got like 26k businesses, and 45~k employees to go for level 7. I dunno if I'm doing something wrong, or if it's meant to take a day or two to get the vigintillion office upgrades, but this bottleneck is annoying.
Can you add second story functionality for stairs? Also have you considered expanding the shops into an actually village/town? I would also like to see Hirelings, who can do one job per day, perhaps with some complexity later on (like needing a fridge stocked with hireling meals or say 4 berries, and maybe only doing a percentage of their job until they get enough experience/are sent to school which maxes one job). Hirelings would need the second story so you have room for their bed fridge and dropoff chest, or the space management could be intentional. This would allow you to spend more time dungeoneering, which I'm still working on so I can't comment on that aspect yet. A couple of tranquil forest zones next to town would be nice too, along with a bow mechanic for hunting game which respawns faster and could feed you and hirelings better than berries (but worse than purchased meals), and as an area that spawns a lot of bushes each day for seed harvesting.
This may sound rather odd, but I'd like to ability to toggle god mode off/on so I can dive to my death (along with appropriate damage noises). Also a few fall arrest-ment blocks like water, mud, air mats, etc. for making vertical obstacle courses with a dash of danger.
I guess I play rather recklessly at times, so no sandbox game is complete for me without semi-regular damage indicators :D
@Gigathorn True, the rule I have is, as long as you don't spend exactly half or more, it's a gain. And in the same amount of time it took or less, you will make those bits back plus more.
Can you complexify the stats a bit, I want to see how many transcoded bits I got last transcension AND my total, as well as how many I lost last transension AND my total loss.
Hi! Thanks for the suggestion! You can currently see you current new bits, it's showing up on top-right of the units pane right after a transcension. Your transcoded bits are the bits you have spent on bit upgrades in the hivemind pane (there you can also see the bits left available in effect for the % bonus on top). Hope this helps a little! :)
Suggestion part 2: Can you add Minigames (mazing and special barrels would work better here)? Timed Attack- destroy a wave of enemies asap, Survival- enemies get stronger over time, maybe more? Would probably be best by 'changing screens' while your auto-turret gathers cash, giving you a fresh turret you have to upgrade with bounties and a 110% total cash bonus on completion(timed attack)/defeat(survival) with an checkpoint option to skip earlier levels that give a trivial amount and start with 100% bounty cash from those levels, exempted from the end cash bonus(to prevent cheesing the system).... wow that really got away from me.
Suggestion: Can you add two cash per second values(one for the turret, one for care packages). Can you add the ability to change enemy spawn speed?(Each upgrade adds/subtracts 1 to/from max/min spawn speed). Can you add enemy customization? (decals, color, spawn paths, random perks+bonus gold and an option to ignore perked enemies) Can you add mazing and special turret effects? (slow, splash, chain-lightning barrel, multi-shot barrel, mobility, traps, etc., interceptors and other aesthetic weapons.) Two Parts to character limit
