Apparently my character is addicted to collecting various body parts of Balrogs. I currently have six swords, two kidneys, and three skins... all from Balrogs. I hate to think this, but maybe he's compensating for something?

Based on many comments, it seems that the glitch only happens at level 12. Simply grow to level 13 before you ascend to a level where death is actually possible for you.

That's nothing. I went to hell to collect 13 chickens.

Encountered a positive glitch. If you reach insanely high defense, then weaker enemies tend to deal negative damage. It doesn't happen often, and the healing rate is pathetically low, but it's slightly amusing when an enemy uses "Life Drain" and ends up healing you and hurting itself.

To build on my last comment, having an option to take off autosaved will eliminate 90% of the stuck issues in the game. Better to get stuck with no chance of help, then load up a recent file, than to have to start from scratch. Try to keep this at the top, people, if you agree.

I think a feature to disable autosave would be good. I hate it when I log in and find my character stuck... :( Not even suicides work. The same thing that happened to Norfarell happened to me, sadly...

Got torn apart after the fifth or sixth ascension. Had to restart, since even "nigh immortal penguins" were kicking the crap out of me.
