one of the worst game ever... it freeze at the end of the combat, and from what I see in the comments, lots of freezes are found! Not enough testing, IMHO.
A point and click where you get stuck in every room... is not a good game. It means that hasn't been tested enough, and that basic principle are implemented flawed. No more than 1/5
nice idea, but is not enough... 2 quite important things are missing:
- gray (tentative) blocks
- being able to choose the difficulty level on new board
I wonder what kind of suggestion you want...
Do a game, then we will tell you if we like the game or not.
It's not the mechanic behind that makes a game good or bad, it's a lot of other things.
Do a game YOU have fun playing with, and will be OK
Stolen... and already on Kong!
Pretty lame move... 1/5 and flag; here is the link to original: http://www.kongregate.com/games/FreeGameJungle/bru?sfa=permalink
I think that rating 1/5 a game that doesn't work is absolutely fair, as when making a game, and not only a game, before release testing is done. And not enough testing and releasing a flawed game is still developer's fault; moreover, using an image which has nothing to do with the game is not a good move, and is again developer fault, and is again something that concur to the rating.
So.... 1/5, and next time be more careful!
The idea is nice one, but the controls needs some refining: I've never had the feeling of controlling the egg, and there is no scale between the strength or length of the touch and the action of the egg. Try again!
The game is not bas, as starting idea, but the implementation is like done on a rush; I would like to see a more polished update with: 1) a pause button w keyboard shortcut 2) a system of achievement (number kills?) 3) a system of upgrade (ammo, missiles, and similar) 4) a radar, to know where are the planes 5) a less obtrusive gunsight, so I can see if I'm hitting the plane or not 6) an easier control system Overall: 2/5 (but waiting for an update)
IMHR (In My Humble Review):
The idea is nice (even though a series of 'lives' before downgrade wouldn't be bad), but the graphic is absolutely too childish: look around for example of good graphics!
Other things that kill the game:
- it gets annoying soon: no powerups, all the tile the same behaviour (they just change in number and disposition) and no really increasing difficulties between levels
- the physics and the paddle isn't quite right: wasn't able to get a really angled shot whatsoever
- contestual menus: haven't seen none.. what about AT LEAST a pause button? some config for music/sound effects?
Overall vote: 2/5
would have been great to be able to choose if a number was pencil or not... it get a little confusing this way, as much as have the 'mistakes' (after check my solution) in red.
One last thing: I would have liked something for "well done" if it is over
