Another comment to add to my exp on the game to further improve experience, I'd recommend putting these options if possible :
- increase bag capacity further (not house), through carpentry purchases maybe
- increase the number of items one could carry before entering the tower (beyond 8 - also through carpentry, as usual)
- attacks can be made diagonally, so are possible moves, thus, one could use spells diagonally too, this lacks a lot and is a bit frustrating at times
- we should be able to choose which pickaxe to use when destroying boulders, as level 1 pickaxes clutter up inventory space but have only 1 use, it's frustrating having a lvl 3 and multiple lvl 1 & 2 AFTER the level 3 inside our inventory and lvl 3 gets used first...

The spells doing diagonal damage makes sense.
I'll have a think about bag size, I modelled it after darkest dungeon, where you have only limited bag space and have to prioritise what items you take.
I agree with pickaxe, it uses the first one in your bag. A way to get round it for now is drop the good one on the floor and pick it up again.
Removerust potion sells for 100 gold, rusty equipment sells for 100 gold. Shiny stuff sells for 200 gold... I see no interest for me to take the time to remove rust from stuff just for a measly addition. I think, IMHO, shiny stuff should sell for more. Also could be an idea to be able to jump to a certain level once you attain it. 3 stars to encourage ;)
I have implemented a teleport feature so you can skip floors instead of starting from the beginning. I hope this helps.
I'll have to think about the shiny option as it might make people dump other items for shiny items to sell. The benefit of a shiny item is 1 bag slot holds 200 gold compared to 100 gold.
So a bag of 20 shiny objects is worth twice more than 20 normal items.

A wild sloop appears. Galleon and fortress attack. Sloop uses critical hit, it's super efficient! Galleon sink inexorably and fortress is razed to the ground!
encountered a bug: after my 6th or 7th reset, kept everything bought, every guild joined to, but had no bonuses from these bought items. Result: couldn't hire anyone and couldn't buy again the buildings I already had. Blocked at this point with 60+ spirits is a shame ! Have to manually go down all the quests to finish the grail and try resetting... again!
hahahahaha, been downvoted to oblivion, but still, Chrome sux more than a vacuum cleaner, and yet, there are already at least four pple commenting on HOW you HAVE to type a phrase long before the URL to let something like UNITY work ! Worthless explorer, buggy, unstable and now... close to one of the most powerful engine on the web. Next step is what ? prevent usage of flash, java and all other scripting code ?
Sure, it's gonna be stable and all, but half of the internet will just be blank pages !
changing gameplay every update is not a good thing ! Achievement pop up over the donuts : bad ! just having a color changing icon in the upgrade menu to show if you're in the angel or cash upgrade section vs. having ONE icon showing up : bad !
some serious new bugs... just closed my browser with the game having lemonades @ 6 quattuordecillion per second, reopened it to see it was @ 2 quattuordecillion per second... so was the rest of my products.
I feel like downgrading my kickers when purchasing the next one ! It should be at least the same stats as the previous top tiered kicker.
As for precision ? never increases over 15?
to the devs : will you ever correct the responsiveness of the jump key ????????? If Nintendo ever did this with his platform games, they would have long gone into oblivion !
very good game, I just wish devs wouldn't see the world only through their QWERTY keyboard ! There are foreign people out there who'd like to play your game with other type of keyboard ! Please let us change the keys !!!
