My pet is confused. It's supposed to heal my MP with it's skill Meditation (Recover 0.2%xlevel MP of Player and self per turn) but the scroll says it heals my HP. Please train your pets for battle better next time.
Another visual bug, maybe, : Gained stats (Def/HP) from Defense skill are not added to stats. No change in HP at all, and no clue if the Def calculates correctly, but it does not show up on the UI.
The reduction of money from shop/blacksmith SHOULD STAY IN - I like to know if my spending habbits are higher than what my earnings are. Visual bugs I have found : Gamble items are not capatolized. Minimum attack can be raised above maximum. Item stats are not visually calculated into CP. INT bonus from items does not visually increase Chance to Cast percentage. And finally, Counter Attack is overpowered. It is possible to raise Chance to Cast to 95%, making nearly every attack a miss on the player and almost impossible to lose. I suggest putting a unique cap on Chance to Cast for each skill. I would also be curious to see how putting different AP gains on different races would allow you to tweak stat points, essentally making each race a different type of play - one or two races preferred for AP gain with a low stat output, one or two for a nice balance or luck based build, and one or two specifically designed for stat point gain with low AP gain.
The game is actually perfect without badges at this point, I think there is a large section of improvement needed before this game gets to it's prime. I have a few suggestions. I'd like to see color customization for the user interface, although it's really not that important. A skill tree, rather than a set of skills, would also be fun - with an option to pay for a skill reset at a decent cost. Another idea is a death penalty, although I don't see that going over well with others, especially until you shine up the grinding path. Other rarities could include : Uncommon, Mythical, and Unique. A contest could be held, or an idea entry forum, would be nice for Title suggestions. I also reccomend making an upgraded rebirth, perhaps at age 40-50, that would allow you to keep a small amount of stat points, to give something for people to shoot for after they reach the "level 12 before age 20" benchmark for AP gain.
I currently have a collection of epic items on raising the minimum damage above the maximum damage (156min-113max) Besides being an obvious visual bug, I am confused to what this precisely does to my damage rate. Is it useless to raise your minimum damage above maximum (as the maximum is the programmed cap), or is the maximum equal to the minimum despite the visual bug?
Just goes to show you, when you've got no arms or legs you'll wind on a deserted island connected to another deserted island by strange reforming caves of mysterious pill wonder. That's what being handi-capable is all about!
Storyline spoiler. Chuck hates sheers. Chuck chucks himself. Chuck finds a place where he doesn't have to get sheered.
Most to the point and blunt ending ever from such a well thought out game. Good music, Great idea, Nice expansion of gameplay... absolutely horrible ending.
Bug - Purchased 'bed' upgrade with silver clock, clock upgraded to gold under the 2 hour mark - total playtime approx 1:26:00 - not sure if this was a problem with the bed upgrade, or the playtime mark. Upgraded bed again - clock did not upgrade.
Suggestion - Upgrade for the market for a buy/sell option, this will make the market more fun and in essence it's own game instead of just a coin shop for luck.
protip: You can reshuffle the shop by clicking the 'heros' tab on the map! -- And can someone please get the knight off his high horse? Like he doesn't have to train ... for the past six levels he's done absolutely squat! Pathetic!
Obviously highly inspired by such games as Castle Shikigama 2. Long have I loved said game for it's unique bullet mass and pixel hit box. This 'version' of the type of game is increased in value with upgrades, which who doesn't love those? It takes a massive amount of awe from my end to post a comment, but you have done very well.
A few suggestions would be storyline, more music options, in game volume control, more viable 'focus' ability (possibly with energy bar), equipment options (weapons, armor, accessories), and a stats page (more in-depth health, damage, defence, agility and possibly evade)
And finally; Thank you. Great work, great series, wonderful devotion. 5/5 & Favorite.
