This game needs some vast improvements. A speed up button and, let me think, auto save would be good places to start. I mean this is the 4th in the series, right? So where are the at least base things that every good flash game has? Other than the aspects that make this game completely unplayable to me, the idea around this game is good. Which sucks, because I want to play it, but at the same time I don't think that my losing two hours of gameplay due to no auto-save is really worth going back and playing over again. Especially when that could be trimmed down to five minutes if there was a speed-up option.
This game is win. A definite 5/5 from me. The descriptions and "power smash" graphics are insane (in a good way) and the way the game is presented (with the music changes and "extras") is great. The only problem is when visiting the inventory screen. I think it's a memory leak, but whatever it is lags everything and I have to reload the flash. Just FYI.
Are you playing as Professor Plum or Colonel Mustard? Joking aside, this is a well made game that is a very unusual combination. Well done and definitely 5/5 with some internets thrown in on the side.
Screw trying to get 30 levels. If you're not lucky (or you don't play the game hundreds of times) you're not going to be able to pass. There seriously needs to be a checkpoint or something you can start from, not just 'game over'. Still 3/5 though, because the game itself (aside from those complaints) is actually very enjoyable.
Gadge, I'm pretty sure the "normal" maps recycle themselves, so they'll pop up again later if you don't beat it right then. And if you're talking about the elemental types, there's a shop that opens up later that lets you change elemental types, plus you find items that allow you to do it. I found my first cold on the second map I ever played.
And just in case I'm being unclear again, in my previous comment I meant the option to actually upgrade to the advanced class of that hero, not upgrade the actual unit (like upgrading one of their skills).
I'm not sure whether this has been said before or not, but I would appreciate a 'sell' or at the very least 'upgrade' option be added to units, since several times I've wanted to do this. Unless of course I'm totally missing the option to do it somewhere, in which case I'm a dumbass that needs some direction.
How the hell am I supposed to play if I can't even scout a location for my castle? I've been all over the map (in a non-full room of course) and I literally cannot place anything down anywhere. Epic fail.
Sorry that wasn't descriptive enough. The badge is too frustrating because the controls are so precise. Keyboards aren't meant to be that precise. For example it seems like 1/16th of a pixel touches fire and he burns. XD
Well, now I have to play part 2. It is really well done. What I was getting at before, with my previous comment, is that I haven't run into anything that detailed on Kongregate until now.
All men want to be dominant and all females want to be submissive? Light and dark can't have children or relationships? Hum.
Wait, the real questions are what the hell was I doing reading all this when I could be fighting things and why didn't I laugh at the ch4tsp33kr in the inn?
