There are too many colors! This makes a random-generated board too chess-board-patterned, making it impossible too get good combo's. For Bejeweled this would not always be a problem, but in this game we fight against enemies which do damage that is 1/5th of our health, and 40% of the time a combo will not even damage them! The idea is very nice, but the outcome is bad. It would be nice if the developer would make a new version of this game.
One thing that bothers me: The more ships I shoot down, the more powerups I get, while when I already shoot a lot of ships by myself, I do not need those powerups. Powerups should help the player in need, not the one that blasts everything to hell anyway.
I think this game proves that not every game jmtb02 creates is holy and sacred and deserves badges. You're right dude, this game is wierd. And not more than that.
Why does my party just blindly run into a group of enemies, when they could also wait for them to come one after another. The dumbness of my students just amazes me.
The game should reward difficulty spikes with an increased chance to find fresh soldier, energy potions to perform your skills again, and/ or at least some health packs. I mean, come on, a helicopter, two bunkers, an enemy barracks and that huge tank that sets half the field aflame are survivable, but if you only get two riflemen before the next two tanks, a new barracks and three bunkers that shoot diagonally, you are doomed to die...
Good game, but too bad they did nothing with the tips given in the first game. It's basically the same game as number one, but then with even less healthpacks...
The game misses a lot of things. For example, why would I, as a human, not use my only slight chance of survival by choosing to stay with a computer/AI? I think the game would be deeper if the text comes from another human in the shuttle, but unable to reach me physically. Or even better, that YOU are that other human, and that you have the choice in giving the other the chance to escape by opening the pod, or choosing to lock him here, to die together with you. Or that you have to choose between the other or you, or that you have to persuade the other in letting you go. If I was locked with an AI, I would always choose to flee to survive, so ending B is not an option in my opinion.
Also, when I say, 'yes, I know we are in space' the computer doesn't understand me. And in the end, both answers '(I want to) escape' and 'I want to take that chance' aren't understood by the computer. Can I be more clear then? Still, a nice game. 3/5
Funny game. But it's terrible for colour-blind people (like me)! If you really want to balance te game, put more green tiles, and less purple tiles in the game and make them easier to see. Make them neon-like if you want, but it's frustrating to seek the right colours in a colour-soup that could be any colour with some imagination. The houses don't make the tiles easier to see. Argh, I like the game, but I hate the fact that it is colour-based.
Actually, it can be played completely normally by colourblind people ;)
