Game becomes extremely easy after the first or second play through once you've figured out the mechanics/physics. In an attempt to challenge myself I only played in the goalie box (i.e. only defense) and bought 0 upgrades. Still finished 37-1-0
Don't know if this has happened to anyone else but there were 4 games left in my season. After playing game #34 my season ended and the last 3 games were simmed.
I find lvl 9 of animal lair to be the best for mass looting. Once you have unlimited ammo and random gun, just replay the level until you start with the minigun, point at the mushroom and step back and watch your S sky rocket.
Black Samurai...they're all you need. As AdamHowell as already said, I played 3/4 of the game without ever having to use my hero or losing any soldiers.
Thought I was so clever putting all 15 of my security guards on the ground floor thinking...well the bandits will have to come down here to leave...then they out smart and start bring hand gliders -_-
completely stuck. should explain what the powerups are (hover over them) because i cant remember if i got upgraded spikes...if not cant find them, if so cant use them..loved this game but cant finish it 2/5
Far too short. Definitely needs different difficulty settings. Beat the game in about half an hour taking 5 days, and I'm usually horrible at top down shooters. Nothing about this game really stood out for me, same weapons as all other TDS games, same upgrades, same concept. 3/5
STA is only used for MAGIC att. Found that out the hard way, when buying spells it says Cost:--, and I wasn't aware the cost was referring to STA. Purchased "Scorching Beam" which costs 24 and now I am completely unable to have my assigned magic user cast said spell at his level due to a lack of STA. Overall good game. 4/5
annoyed me that when viewing the weeks matchup its nearly impossible to read the team's state, and then all statistics are labeled by state...but then I realized why the teams are named as they are. NY Rockets in place of NY Jets, N.E. Volunteers instead of Patriots etc. Then I just thought...wow...very clever
One of the biggest disappointments thus far by Nerdook in my opinion. Extremely repetitive, as many others have pointed out, the fact that the adventures have no thought process at all becomes extremely annoying, and crosses the line between "challenging" and frustrating before level 5. Although I was able to figure the game out quickly, as I'm sure most are, the lack of clear cut directions was also mildly frustrating. In terms of game-play, overall its just...boring, for lack of a better word. The concept is somewhat fresh and initiative, but the game play itself is lackluster and dry. 2/5
