Good concept that keeps you playing. Some luck is involved which can be fun and suck based on how you see it :P could also have other upgrades such as speed, luck with weapons, fire rate, or even unlock more enemy types as you continue.
Going to assume this is an earlier work in your game dev career. The controls are just slightly off sometimes (important for a platform), using fire to light up the path didn't light anything up if that was your intention, so it became 100% just guessing after that point, but I will say the level artwork looks amazing. Love the style.
This game seems a whole lot like a game that just came with the Humble Bundle... but with slightly less comfy controls. Just left click for pull and right click for push. Gold and upgrades is a twist though. You should check out the game if you didn't know about it and just try to rip it off, "Shatter".
If you're going to put in on the web instead of just for touch screens please update your game to reflect that. Having to click (tap) to do anything while all of the controls are keyboard was annoying. A few other small things to change, enter for fire (doesn't go well with controls), fuel in general (seemed to not reflect the level, but it didn't matter because after you die you always had 2000), and this might have just been me not being good at it but I think the ball had too much influence over your momentum and it didn't take much to make it lose control. Makes it difficult to play but it looked nice.
Played until I got to to wall jump tutorial part. Wall run/jump doesn't respond well which makes the game just annoying when you need it. Also had an inconsistency with the health shown and how much I really had. Good platforming potential, just a few problems.
It might just be my computer but it seems to move pretty slow. Takes away from the game really, as the physics behind seem really messed up because of it. Also your instructions don't read well X)
Like the game but it seems like there needs to be more checkpoints to prevent it from being like I Wanna Be The Guy and just memorizing specific moves to get through difficult parts entirely. Biggest times this shows is when you fall and go back and forth between spikes and have to time your jump perfectly to not hit the top or bottom spikes, but right after you need to keep going or start all over.
Don't you wanna be the guy? :p
Good feedback. I didn't want the game to be too easy but I forget that I have played the game a million times more as a dev than a first time player. This will be addressed shortly.
I like the idea and how its done. As everyone says it is too short but I played through it a couple of times to try different stuff and it's still fun. Keep it up just add more!
If you think the nuke is worthless try combining it with lightning. It kills EVERYTHING!!!! Hit it with a grenade for a lesser effect but surprisingly more useful...
Loved it great game great concept and I played through it a couple of times. Its funny how so few choices make an impact on the games ending and still manage to show something. I also agree on the new category of games like this. 5/5
