@thewepon:
It sure inspired me to do something similar, this and Recettear, though I won't be going for online(more singleplayer style like Recettear) and it probably will end in nothing, but it could be an interesting ride...
And anyway, if it inspired me, it could inspire others too and maybe they will do it.
Wow, I just came from a terrible singleplayer game, I had SHITLOADs of weapons, crystals and bricks and a lot of conjure cards... and I got pounded into submission by the easy mode bot.
Cards need to be randomnized A LOT more, cause this is nuts. I just kept getting the same crappy cards again and again.
Great game, although way too much guessing and hint clicking later on, there's too much stuff you could be making, with no hints of what you should be aiming for.
Regardless 5/5, it reminded me of a game I played a few years back called Sandbox of God, this made me google for it.
I think people that like this will like Sandbox of God alot too, it's a free game that you can get here: http://www.vertigogaming.net/game/sandbox
Graphics ain't very high tech though, but there's a remastered version with improved graphics and a new gamemode if you're willing to shell out a few bucks.
I like it quite a lot, the dish and especially the USS should have their firing cost raised though.
I once thought if I try to dodge as much as possible the other guy would run out of money, but not really. Too hard too dodge and the firing cost is just a bit too low, still voted 5/5 though, it's a very interesting game with many tactics.
It's just a shame long range tactics can be used way too easily, leaving you rebuilding villages and the enemy with plenty of money to keep shooting them.
