Pay to play, pay to win, pay to enjoy? Don't get me wrong, a gamedeveloper should be able to earn money, but making players permanently depend on real-money payments for the "priviledge" to play as long as they want and the faintest chance at a high ranking... Nope. This is free to play done wrong. Not to mention the gameplay is utterly terrible. Or rather nearly non-existant. The only thing good about this game are the pretty cards and unfortunately, they are just not worth it.
I think I did not get the card, because of a bug. Can someone tell me a bit about how you would get the card, please? You can send me a PM if it's against the rules to post spoilers or something.
For those with score issues:
1: test your score-display by putting
_root.ship.score += 50;
_root.scoreText.text = _root.ship.score;
in your Explosion (before this.removeMovieClip)
- In game it should automatically start with a 0 and rise with every explosion.
- If you got that to work. You probably made a mistake when placing the resetScore and updateScore functions. They should be under the onEnterFrame function (not in it!)
- go over all of your {}
For those who seem to have correctly copied the code, but have errors:
Perhaps you are missing one of these: ; { } ( ) Or perhaps you have put parts of code in the wrong place.
Remember: Computers are the most stupid things you could possibly "talk to". If you don't "speak" their language perfectly flawless, they will not understand you.
There's a place on the second level where I cant advance. There's rising and residing water and a huge are of spikes under the water. How do I get past that? I don't seem to be able to jump far enough.
I would like a cellkraft 2 with interactions of different one or few-celled organisms (including a somewhat random development of your cell due to random external influences) and information that is even closer to (and more usefull in) biology class.
- I think this game has a huge unrealized potential.
With some tweaking of the controls I could even imagine a pvp RTS-battle between human-controlled-cells and npc-controlled viruses and external influences. Fight for resources, survive and develop to prove that you are the fittest...
Cool Level-design and moving/shooting options. I would like to play on after getting the kitty. I think this has potential for a part 2 and since one has learned the controls in part 1, one should have the moving/shooting options from the beginning in part2. I imagine one could add a tripple-jump and some other rather ridiculous moves...
