Is the attack speed for shaman based off a different formula than that of a druid? Whats the point of giving him mental agility when his dps gets nerfed by a hidden game mechanic...?
There is no hidden game mechanic, increase in intellect can decrease attack speed by a VERY TINY amount for shaman, since part of their base damage is from intellect. It's like a hunter's attack speed slowing as his strength increases relative to his agility. Any attack speed decrease is always far outweighed by the increased damage you get.
