I think cool-downs on some higher level abilities would make multi-player a lot more balanced. Some abilities are too powerful, given their spam-ability. Is there any chance that you would look into this FrozenTorch?
Seriously, couldn't you have made him partially sighted, like at least a faint outline of his sword and shield? Even most totally blind people have way better perception with their other senses. Like, you can't even hear footsteps. You have heard of humans echo-locating right? How long has he been blind for? I can't believe he hasn't adapted better by now. Don't get me wrong, I love the concept for the game, I just think you made it too hard to be very enjoyable.
