Might I suggest changing the scoring method to be based upon how far the mouse moves after clearing a block, e.g start with 10 points and give it an exponential increase for each square, so one square would be 10, second would be 100 and so on. the current time based scoring method isn't encouraging me to play the game with any strategy, and just promotes click spamming to cycle through until i get a match to move forward.
got stuck in an infinite death loop :/ standing in a white ray, couldn't swap back to black world. in the wide room with the spikes. otherwise cool game
And I'm not entirely sure what just went wrong, but my guy is repeatedly falling over and standing up. Being hit, but not losing health (full health), so I'm assuming something is tripping the death condition. Tried to return to town from start of level 11 boss room.
What I mean as game breaking is I can stack a few items with % max health steal, then just stack vitality and never die. As a sorcerer I theoretically shouldn't be able to stand in melee with a boss and win through AFK auto attacking. At the moment I only need to use my heal spell (which for 20 mana heals 35% of my health, which is roughly 2.5% of my mana pool, and I have 5% mana steal, meaning I can heal 50% of my health per attack) against bosses. Aside from that and one instance of enemies not being visible briefly on one occasion returning from town, which hasn't occurred a second time yet, it is a very well done game. 5/5
So, god cat gets all your upgrades when you play as sun emperor? And uses firewall whenever he gets hit? I find myself under a never ending barrage of fireballs because that first fire wall gets triggered and then takes out scarabs, which triggers scarab powers (mostly firewall fml) which takes out even more scarabs and i find myself getting hit with 3 powers simultaneously...
Otherwise great game.
@wads i've had 110 and still had a few non-crits, the enemy has protection stats as well which counter your crit chance, but effectively 100 = 100% on the lower CP enemies.

+1 min attack, +1 max attack, +1` crit, +1 defense, boy was that disappointing. then bam. +2 dex, +2 cast chance, +9 str, +2 crit mult. JACKPOT
