When the game data is reset in game, you lose all of your boards but the buy new board part does not reset. Costs remain as high as they were prior to resetting the data and the number of boards remaining in each category also remains the same. Even a clearing of cookies and all internet data does not help as the information appears to be stored on a server.
I know it would be a lot more work, but I would like to see progression through different ages. Because of this, different resources would be more necessary at different times, like stone and dirt in the earlier ages for more buildings. It would also allow for more upgrades and a longer "play" time. It would also allow for more resource types being discovered as you played among many other options.
Also, the song is addictive too.
