Fun, different, and enjoyable overall. Some of the elements don't jump out at you right way, which is kind of frustrating, but a good choice overall. For everyone who thinks that landing in the basement is the end of the game, it's not: just keep jumping around. You'll find the next step eventually.
As a base concept, it works. Maybe tune the mechanics a little more so you can shoot a little faster or something, add some artwork for the avatar and background, and you'll have a nice game here. 4/5, but only because I want to see an improved version of this.
The code is the middle button, then the one above it, then the one below the middle button, and then the one in the bottom right corner. I figured it out to find my guess was right- after putting this in, you're treated to a piece of ClipArt.
The human campaign was great. Difficulty was fair and missions were fun. But then the alien campaign starts up, and the difficulty goes ballistic. You can make the AI smarter, but at least let the player take a few hits. Dying in one shot from a weapon that would take ten to kill the enemy is hardly fair. Weakened weapons would be OK so long as that problem was fixed.
Can the AI on the other team see beyond what you can? I'll have no one on screen at its furthest point and then get snipped from nowhere. Seems like there's a problem there.
Good concept, but needs some work. Maybe work out the jump mechanics, add an enemy or two, maybe some obstacles... if you're comparing it to Mario, you'll also need some longer levels. But, a decent start if you're a beginner, so good work! 3/5
Could use some improvement... a multitude of moves, maybe some midair attacks, some adjustments to jump and speed... a good first start, but needs depth. 3/5.
I got everything on my first try, and in ten minutes or so. Yet I had more fun doing it because it wasn't so cookie-cutter and dull as other games have been lately. Fantastic.
I like this game. Fun and original. Plus, it's a challenge to make it to that 6,000 mark even with full upgrades. Day 50 and I still can't make it... did I mention I'm not good at these?
I'd enjoy this game a lot if not for the fact that the controls are extremely glitchy. They work fine at times, but then I can't move at all or end up walking into a wall for the enitre wave. Great game if not for that, though.
Fun for a while, but it doesn't have that RPG nostalga that we've all come to love. Leveling is one of the best parts of games like this, and it gets boring quickly. Although I have to say thank you, I know have the motivation to play Samurai Legends endlessly.
