Oh, and a last comment on upgrades: Put nothing into the keeper; upgrade towers as they're very strong, upgrade the Earthquake (it's such a strong spell), and the fireball: it's weak at first but with upgrades can deal a good amount of damage.
Hint: Earth towers are strong at lvl4, but the lvl5 upgrade isn't worth it. Get 1 at the start immediately, and when possible place more. Air towers are your friend: They're the best single-target dps and two lvl5s can knockback a boss enough to guarantee the kill. However, upgrading to lvl4 is a very minimal increase in dps, so judge carefully whether you need it. Enemies have hidden elemental defenses, so you'll need fire towers as well for single-target dps. Don't upgrade them beyond lvl3, they get terrible. Good luck everyone! Just beat lvl9, keep trying with strategies and what towers to use! (p.s. so far, water towers have been too expensive to be good, as they don't get strong until Freezer; Air knockback is better and Earth AoE is stronger.)
Wow... undeserved hard badge much. I did hard on first try and found it rather easy, then played insane and again no problems whatsoever... and the badge can even be won on normal mode. Compare that to Gemcraft: Chapter 0, with a hard badge that took weeks to get. :/
If I jump on them I can kill them? But since the side that's up changes all the time, doesn't that mean I can also kill blacks I MEAN SQUARES by rolling into them?
After the first battle, I decided this was too easy, so I started doing demons at lvl 2 instead. Lost one, won everything after that, haha. Easy game but fun.
So like... when you lose season 1 there's simply going to be a season 2, but if you win season 1 and then get stomped by the king who is incredibly strong at this point you just... go on until you CAN beat the king? Without a season 2? ...Okay.
Please make casting spells smoother. Having to go through the delay on the casting menu appearance (the little fade-in) gets annoying after a while. Especially in the light of making combat easier through auto-attacks, this would be pretty neat. Alternative: Move the spell menu to the bottom of the screen and have the "cast spell" button toggle it on or off.
So where do all the weird pictures come from (the wife wouldn't have allowed them, obviously)? Why are there so MANY ghosts? Who drew the pentagram? What was the husband doing? Whose remains are in the basement and why are they there? The only story this game covers is that of the unnamed husband/wife, leaving everything else vague, unanswered and gay, and then I haven't even started talking about the kind of ghost that would write symbols on the wall right next to the box it unlocks.
This game is absolutely terrible. You can't even control your own units (ex. "oh man, there's an ogre along this path to their castle! Lets attack that instead!"), there's no hotkeys for anything, and it's ridiculously easy. The way edicts are done is terrible, too. Shoulda just given 1/lvl, and have edicts unlock each other. 1/5 no sequel pls
There's no hotkey for select hero, which is downright dumb. Furthermore, the way to beat vezgay is to spam lvl1 towers everywhere and hope your higher good towers get to deal damage to him: You *need* to unlock the lower towers or else minions will get through and kill you.
The tree is preventing new waves from spawning, and what it spawns itself is easily killed. In other words: Freefarm! Infinite free money! +1 for post-apocalyptic trees!
