I SO want to get all the medals, but I haven't been able to get past level 12 of the hard enhanced version. What happened to the boom bar in the classic version. IIRC, IndestructoTank 1 had a boom bar.
Radar's not accurate... You'll be scuttling long on the ground, using a side thruster, and the radar will show a platform coming up BELOW you, and when it appears, it's above you. Hmm...

Once he gets into space, he loses his stylish and attractive goggles!

Woot!^3 Hit $1,000,000 on day 12 (not trying to get into space, just messing around).
Woot!^2 Used platforms to bounce from within sight of the ground to almost 4100 feet!
Woot! One day total: $401.75 collected, altitude 3622 ft., runtime, 5:58.87 = $522,909

All sorts of lameness, here. I hate mouse and keys UI games. To oeasy to click outside the game area, too hard to coordinate.
The music is GREAT! Wish I could say the same for the game. It has promise, but at least a LITTLE bit of explanation would be nice.
I did far too well at this game considering how badly I suck at it. If that makes any sense. I dislike games with arrow keys AND mouse user interface. Have to use the mouse with the left hand, which is no fun.
Pretty fun game, but when you get all the enemies maxed out, and you get infinite fuel, does it ever end?
Don't use e-rockets while still traveling upwards -- they actually slow you down!

Research results from the R&D department of MASA (Minovian Aeronautics and Space Administration): -Left Rocket is the rocket on the right that makes you go left, not the rocket on the left that makes you go right4. -Vice-versa for right rocket. -Launcher height is better than band elasticity. --Vertical launch elevation with max launcher height, no added band elasticity: 1153' --Vertical launch elevation with max band elasticity, no added launcher height: 667' ---Took much longer to complete mission (23 days) when not adding to launcher height, than when not adding to band elasticity. ---However, best single run ever for this pilot achieved on last launch with max band elasticity: $188, more than 3 minutes run time, over $200,000 total bonus.
My strategy, which seems to be working okay, is to launch straight up, then get some lateral motion going on for the glide down. You seem to hit more platforms that way. And make sure to keep going to one side or the other once you hit the ground. First, it increases your runtime; second, you may hit a coin or platform on the ground. By doing this, I collected $123 in one day, with a runtime of 1:22. Combined with only 1525' elevation, that gave me over $16,000 in one day.
Lost my interest by level 3 (says more about me than the game?). A rabbit should be able to jump. Or hop. Right? If you gook a small land mass with the grappling hook and get swinging fast enough that you could swing all the way around it in a circle, the game pretty much freaks out.
BTW^2, Engram, I agree there should be a reset button. But if it were "completely dependent upon luck ," I wouldn't have gone steadily from winning in over 20 days on my first try to winning in 4 - 6 days now. Luck plays a role, sure, but it's not all there is. The game seems to require more strategy than skill -- figure out the best way to play.
BTW, is the "left rocket" the one on the left (which makes you go right), or the one which makes you go left (which is on the right)?

Finally got into space on day 5! Took a fairly incredible stroke of luck on day 4, with the arrangement of platforms. Got almost $110. Amazingly addictive, but needs a reset button and a skip button on the closing credits.

Annoying. Don't like the controls. Would much rather be able to use R/L arrow keys to rotate tank, up/down to move, and space bar to shoot. Way to easy to click outside the game window, leaving tank defenseless.
I like the song, and the game is very pretty and quite relaxing. I think I would have sequenced the music in midi, rather than having used a live recording, though -- uses less memory. And it would be nice to have more than one song.
