EDIT: Yes and add a RETRY button! I hate to wait till the turtle lands when I already know it was a bad launch...
Why does EVERY "powerup" you encounter on the way slow you down so much? I find it virtually impossible to avoid things in higher speed and almost everything will cut your speed in half and toss you upwards. Why no speed boosters...? Otherwise great but this is so random.
It's great, but I would really prefer the tiles to be seamless. I hate the moment when I jump trough the border of the frame. Did you try it without borders? Was it any worse? Because this hurts my eyes a bit. Also, I would like if my stick hero would move a teeny weeny bit faster.
It is pretty good, but it has a few weak points. First, playing such a game in browser seems like an insult to me. It's pretty similar to Braid and I cannot imagine playing Braid in a small window inside a browser. And second, it is too short and we don't get to know the main character's thoughts too well, the script could go a bit further imho. Well, other than that, it's pretty nice - I liked the game part itself too, though again, it could be more complex.
Now I see why people whine about the tower AI - Why the heck doesn't the tower attack the most dangerous enemies (mostly those in the front) and why do the ghosts sometimes get untargetable...?
Waste of nice graphics... I always hated non-permanent weapon upgrades, powerdowns are even more annoying (yet they possess no harm, just cause frustration), you can just fly trough the levels... and everything's BIG! Like Lego Duplo... OMG, really bad and boring.
Specials react slowly and are weak. You collect like a gazillion of powerups that do almost nothing (the only difference I saw was a very slight change in my frontal weapon), the weapon that should "cover the screen with bullets" shoots straigt and the weapon that should shoot straight is much wider. The frontal laser is useless. The upgrades you buy only change the color of bullets - why are there both upgrades and powerups? Upgrades should be enough. Gets very repetitive, music is great but not when you hear it for the 1000th time. There are no backgrounds...?
It is fun and all, but has a lot of flaws.
Juggling has nothing to do in a TD game... and having the player to build repetitive mazes is probably an excuse for not having maps. It's good, but could be a lot better.
Anybody else has problems with performance speed? I can run Crysis no problem but this games chops so much... :( Does flash have problems with Core2Quads or something...? Could I update something or something...? :P
Great potential, but it's all wrong. The game is so SLOW... the bullets are so SLOW... it's so sleepy! Oh my... Please, add some punchy music, cool explosions and make the game much more faster and dynamic. Also the main gun is way too weak in latter stages...
So this his what would Final Fantasy be like if you could loose levels all the way to the first one when hit... stupid I say, stupid! Great game, but I hate being able to loose my level only to fight for it again...and again...and so on. Duh.
