It's a good game, but could use a tweak - I suggest you give the sacrifice screen numeric shortcuts for selection so we don't have to use arrows and enter (the screen sometimes glitches and highlights two options).
I love how all the negative comments fail to see it's an old game. I don't like it either, but come on, its last update was in 2008. The game's within that year's scope.
I just have one suggestion for the plant state keyboard shortcuts - make A the attack state and S can be growth state. I know they're lined up the way they're shown on the screen, but it seems more intuitive to me that the letters correspond to the initials of the states (well, except for growth).
Are stats really supposed to double? If I get an item that has, say, +3 stamina and +2 will, it increases both my perma stats and bonus stats so what I really get is +6 stamina and +4 will.
Absolutely love the concept. Very enjoyable game that keeps you coming back for more. I'd like just one tiny adjustment - give the Energy well a double shortcut (Z, Y) so the letter alignment works on both QWERTZ and QWERTY keyboards.
Has potential, but needs serious balancing. The merchant faction has been mentioned by everyone. I'd like to add the gold and item shops. It is completely unnecessary to ever buy a single item because the enemies you defeat drop better ones. You end up piling up thousands with nothing to spend them on. Another annoying thing is the fact that while I've been typing this comment, the game was still active (although I clicked outside its window) so I've been drinking health potions when hitting the E button. Weird part is, it doesn't happen all the time (but I've still lost 13 of them).
I agree with most people here, the game has been made unnecessarily more complicated. It was fine the way it was, without in-game achievements. The letters with new features are no good if you type extra long words, especially if you (and this doesn't happen so rarely) mistype it. Disappointing, I'm back to the old game and its frustrating level 81. Cheers.
