You might also consider allowing the slime to use up his second jump if he enters the air without jumping (IE, falling off a platform) that way the second jump gets used, instead of only being able to happen after the first one (which must happen on the ground)
While I appreciate the music, I think the game would benefit from having a longer storyline while sacrificing a few soundtracks to allow for more memory.

Come on Flip, if you are really giving up on RoS, at least say as much, don't just vanish without a trace (or an update) for over a year!
This is A great game, but when I got to the end, I got the Orb, & returned to the surface with 100+ time left to go, & the stupid ship would not let me in!, 100 seconds later, exploded.
Ummm, I am having a problem, it will not let me use any of the controls, I cannot move the ball via WASD or arrow keys, I can also not turn of the music by pressing "m", and I cannot adjust the camera by using the mouse, is ANYONE else having this problem??? please bump this so the developer can see this & address the problem!
Yo, all you have to d oto survive is to create overlapping fields of fire. If something DOES somehow get through your defenses & manages to kill one of your guys, just use the grav-pulse to push the bug back so he can get killed by another soldier who DOES share the same line-of-fire can kill the alien
WOW, I am surprised that anyone remembered "Day of the Tentacle", I mean, that game is a decade old, and it still get references like this game... rofl
I disabled the second jump completely, to add a bit more of a challenge.
