I would very much like to see more levels. The golden hexagon puzzles were the challenge I was looking for, but I still want more. Perhaps do another breakthrough where you can put 4s in the hexagon? Or go with levels that are really HUGE.
Another year, another job not-well-done. Starting from graphics - which look like saved .jpgs in windows paint program. The compression is so bad that I would be ashamed to show such hideousness to public. Another thing that keeps continuing (every previous games has it, EVERY) - I keep missing notes for no apparent reason, despite perfect timing. Not to mention some notes are out of rythm. If you take your time and look and Reno the reindeer during the play, You will notice he's not so lively. He just stands there struming the guitar like anemic snake - this is not rock style, therefore there is no power in this. All that remains here is some gameplay which tries to mimic guitar hero - and does it quite well. 5th year in a row - obvious things still not corrected. I am dissapointed.
I'm getting fed up with this. I'm sorry it had to be with your game, but that just does it. We - players - don't want your alphas, don't want your pre-releases, we, surprise surprise, don't want to see your works in progress. If you have a game, even with some things missing, that;s fine, untill it is an actuall game. What you present us here is not even an idea.
Please, oh PLEASE, post the game at the stage where there's actually something to do, see, admire and have fun with. Untill then - keep your work in progress at your computer and work with it in silence. Why? Because that's the way you release the game.
Ok look man, the only real reason i released this game at this stage is to get feedback as to what players would like. I have gotten alot of messages from players asking me to add this or delete that and it tends to help devs alot when they are making a game.
I'm sorry, as much as you tried, I will not give this "game" a high rating.
It becomes a little too obvious, that "emotional" games are becoming something of a stylish trend and it is fine with games, that actually have their "emotional" part and "game" part connected and intertwined into one piece.
This piece here has no connection of each aspects (the emotional and game part). I can just as easily play the whole game without the text appearing on my screen, which in the end proved to be simply annoying.
To me the emotional part is just an excuse to a lousy game content.
I'm sorry. I have no idea how this game made it up to high rated. It's not as good asthe rating would suggest it so. The concept of walking around and shooting stuff coming at you has already been done a thousand times, along with those upgrades you suggest here. Additionaly, it'sstressful for my processor - even on low details lag very much on wave 1. I was afraid to see what happens on later ones. Plus to all that - pause button... i thought it was supposed to PAUSE the game, not kill you?
Sorry. 2/5 - for average graphics.
Much better now!
You've done a fine game there! raising my vote up to 4/5. Keep up the good work!
PS. A little idea: The base layer of the worlds (the liquid, which through you fall) is a little plain. Any chance to make some ambient background reflecting in it? :D
Cant't say the game is good, but it's not bad either.
Controlls are too awkward and the momentum is too sensitive. Moreover, the inability to see the ball, when it's behind some geometry, is uncomfortable to asses the ball's movement.
Also, the lack of sounds and music makes it plain boring.
I give it a 3/5 for good graphics.
The game is mostly based on FFTactics, but when you look at it, which other game is NOT based on any other game?
Earlier comments are true. The game is slow. There's too much waiting time for menus to pop up, delays between moves and actions, other unnecesary delays. Some text is also hardly readable. Maybe it's the scaledown fault?
Game looks great, the music is really fine (exept the end of the battle, when background music overlaps the winning theme)
Otherwise, it's nice and has the potential. I suggest working on enemy AI. FFTactics had more challenging one.
4/5
The game is somewhat great. Increasing difficulty and speed. Thou graphics are confusing at some points. More to that, sometimes it's too much a flash can handle so a quality button would be great. I suggest adding some levels rather than making one big.
The concept of the game is interesting, however, the bad quality of music (sounds like its a bad quality distorted .avi sound) and very low framerate, takes away the joy of play.
Nie try, but to me, it seems like a miserable try to clone Diablo. No offence, this only proves your skills to be great, but i suggest to use it to create something more sophisticated than this. It still needs many upgrades. Map for egsample :)
Holy Crap :O The game's a masterpiece xD Add some more blinky and glowy graphics and it can easly compete with console's Guitar Pro :D But watch out. If it goes on we'll be having new keyboards with 7 keys total. Specialy for THIS game \o/
A lovely game. First part was nice, but this one is even better. It'd be very very nice if the cube matched the background and overall nature of music and graphics. It seems a little rough.
