Are the red and blue hearts on the monsters are their weakness ?

The hearts on their HP are buffs! Probably from The Succubabe or a personal skill (Gobu King) or Firewood Treant getting hit by fire element. But this is what it means - Red Heart: Hp Regen / Blue Heart: Movement Speed increase / Gold Heart: All incoming damage = 1
