The symbols on the stones are nice, but as a colorblind person, it is still nearly impossible to see the differences in the health bar of monsters and in the "color wheel". Is it a possibility to display the symbols on the health bars? I think figuring out which creature matches which color should not be a part of the puzzle aspect of this game!
For people who the game is running slow on (even on low quality), minimalize the screen during battle, check your mail or something, but leave the sound on. You will hear that the battle is going way more faster if you are not looking at the animations, so for easy grind battles this might help!!
I like the ideas like leveling up and quests and such, but you heavily borrowed all the sprites and sounds from the early zelda's, probably to work (timewise) more on the gameplay elements than on the graphics. I look forward to a sequel where you made your own sprites and fantasy world and which will stand out far above the rest!
Woah, the game bugs when you go past day 10 and buy the 100000 turret upgrade, your money is NaN and you can buy infinite turrets and "upgrade your weapon" (I had the electric rifle), after which sadly you can't shoot anymore :c
I loved the concept! Okay, it was easy but i am growing tired of all those physics games where you have to roll an object to a certain place in a fancy way. Way to go with the physics genre. Next up: Physics tower defence anyone?
Who else tried to hit the candles in the mines with a whip-type weapon?
And also.. lanterns=water of life
Nice to see all the influence ^^
Keep on going flipline! I'm already looking forward to the next game! :D
Ok, you've got your first idea done. Some things to work on/future ideas: make the screen bigger by making your player and enemy's smaller. Make different enemy's (a plus sign with more health is another enemy) make the moving/shooting speed a tad faster! keep up!
I made all the sprites and I paid an artist for the musics and sounds...
