Hi!
Over all a nice game. Good selection of magical spells and abilities; I chose to master critical hits, and put points in all four skill trees, even grinding several levels before reaching the boss, so as to complete the skill set...
A few points:
*How about some starting choices beyond m/f; traits maybe?
*When choosing stumps in the puzzle, I had to leave the screen and come back. Took me a while to figure that out.
*Could you auto-acquire a target if your target just died and someone new is hitting you?
*Slight letdown when the army "marching" on the city was just milling about, as per usual. On the other hand, the assassins popping up to kill you a bit later was a nice touch.
*The shadeslayer set felt generic - though I suppose it must be - which made replacing my min/maxed outfit slightly sad. I actually kept my "Death's Feetcovers" on for the last fight, even though I feared the full set might be plot-necessary...
*Maybe randomize the vendor selection from time to time?
Nice game. Some comments:
*Diagonal movement is noticeably faster than normal movement.
*Minions refill endlessly on boss levels (and still drop loot!) This is how you get 50 health potions after the first boss...
There's a population limit on monsters, and they are respawned randomly. I learned quickly to take out the annoying monsters first, leaving a flock of harmless slowpokes in the middle - limiting effective population further...
