Okay the point of donating things to your guild is just to let other people use it or take the item out and sell it for other stuff. Don't be selfish. Would you rather let other people use a item that you know you wont use again or keep it and don't let anyone have it? It's just like real life, donating things to the homeless and others that people can use to put it in good use.
