Dragon Clan: An ancient race of people who have the ability to transform into and summon dragons. When they aren’t transformed into a dragon, they are very similar in appearance to humans. The clan split into two separate clans, the Light Dragons and the Dark Dragons, in a war that took place for years when their numbers started to dwindle, the clans merged again. Some of the clan members later grew wings because of their prolonged exposure to Deathevan the God of Death. The clan later came to be known as “The Brood” when they were demonized by the lies perpetrated by the dominant religion and were hunted down nearly to extinction. Ryu is the son of Ladon, Divine King of Dragons which makes him a Prince . Dragon Clan members are also shown to wield powerful magic; while Light Dragons use curative powers, Dark Dragons members, wield offensive powers.
