This really is an incredible improvement on the first game. A lot of the bugs and quirks have been worked out, making the difficulty curve much more enjoyable, and the new features work well. 5/5
Seriously, I need help. I've bought numerous improvements but the game won't let my workers improve them. This is rapidly going nowhere, unless it will let me add the improvements I bloody well paid for (in-game, I'm not an idiot).
I bought an anvil and rug with gold rather than tokens. The game tells me I'm supposed to improve them, but doesn't show me how, and it won't let me improve them with my workers. Wtf?
This game has some serious issues with random number generation on the harder difficulties. The 15% likelihood of failing a mission seems to be more like 40% to 50%, which makes it hard to decide whether a mission is worth the risk.
The game design is frustrating. It doesn't seem to want you to be able to move items, so you have to carefully click and drag an item or it reverts back to its box, over and over again.
This game is fun, but the controls are kind of sloppy. I can't count how many times I've been pressing a shortcut and still somehow selecting the wrong people.
I know it may be realistic to not be allowed to start over on a patient, but I want to play a game, and this makes it less enjoyable. Too much realism in a game is not always a good thing.
This game is just not very well balanced. Ally AI is predictably retarded, which is true of most RPGs, but when you depend on them to win, it kinda sucks when instead of healing you or himself, your ally decides a basic melee attack would be most appropriate.
