yes if you delete cookies progress is lost
make an export prior to cleaning cookies.

if you clear your cache you lose all your save files for all flash games
I didn’t clear it, the power shut off when the game was running, now I’ve lost everything (last saved at level 139, now i was 140) and only in that game
