The rules, especially victory conditions and loss conditions, need to be more clearly explained. Poison not only does the "hp drain" but it also seems to disable certain activities (such as building or attacking in the case of certain ships, though this might be a issue with explaining rules again). A hot-key for pause, since it is so necessary for the game, would be really good. Shift-placing a ship-making building should do something so that you don't have the menu popping up and getting it the way. Beyond that I can very much appreciate the frustration with the lack of control in the game over certain things, though in most cases that is more an aspect of the game's unique strategy rather than a deficiency in game control (but not all, such as with healers and mining units).
Other than that, great game. It shows a lot of potential. If there were a way to ration the pause times (perhaps a chess-like timer) it would make a great and unique multi-player game.
I read on at least a couple of the responces that there is a standalone client (and that it helps to resolve certain issues, such as computer load), is there a way to use the game that you stared on Kongregate over the standalone or do you need to start a completely new game?
Also, the ghostclaw prophets are especially bad about causing lag. It sucks when the game just stops for 4-6 seconds and the only thing you can do is to choose to revive or not.
There is a standalone client that you can download from www.angry-red.com but yes, legally we cannot use Kongregate logins, it has to be a SpicyWorld account to use the standalone.
