I beat the whole game without using mortar. On hard. Am a bit sad about this balance. Selling and re buying is sadly a viable strategy, to instantly revive a location. Disappointed that the game bugged out on the last mission on hard, can't get the badge, so you lose a star there. The 3 Humvees get to the crashed chopper and the game just stay there.
