Excellently well done! Almost all the standard elements are here, and implemented well, the only notable omission is the auto restart when the rocket collects fuel after the engines have gone out. The thing that makes this game shine the most is the balance. A single upgrade makes a noticeable and enjoyable impact on the gameplay, you feel rewarded for every run and never get dismayed that you will have to put 5 ranks in something before it will make a difference. I do think the satellite layer is a bit think at times. I think you could make an amazing sequel, try for more collectables and maybe more interactive features on the rocket.
This game has potential, I would change a few things. First slow the pace of the game down, many of the levels are won or lost within 30 seconds this is enjoyable for a few levels but after 20 or so levels like that it becomes brain numbing. Also the quick pace negates the value of the advanced structures or ships, for many of the levels I just spammed fighters, bombers, and or, miners. Second the AI needs adjustment, frequently it would pull a StarCraft with all the enemies mostly ignoring each other while they overwhelmed by base. Third, spread out the bases. I had a few instances where initial build range was within that on an enemy base, I could build turrets just a few blocks away from their main base. I am definitely going to check back to see how this game progresses, you have put great work into this game and it shows in the quality and how fun the game is. Thanks.
If you replay a level more then 1 back from where you were at you lose your progress and have to advance again from that level. I was on 04 and decided to replay 02, it reset and would not let me choose 03 or 04. Also the enemy advances in difficulty no matter which level you play, this seems to take some of the value away from playing past levels.
There is a strange glitch where a goblin will become invincible and you cannot target it, yet it will still wander around and lay bombs that damage the castle. At that point the only way to win is to kill everything else before it kills you, this unintentionally increases the difficulty.
This game suffers from being too random, within a minute and a half it is completely possible for the game to present you with an impossible situation and I was often mowed down by two airliners pinning me to a blimp. Either make sure players are always given a chance to survive or give them something to even the odds, I think this game would be greatly improved if certain vehicles could not fly through each other: Small planes block helicopters, Blimps block Airliners, Fighters block UFO's.
Save the Posiden upgrade for last, it only makes the Leader invincible which is only useful for getting the endurance achievements.
Outstanding, this was clearly a work of love for the developer. I don't even like most of these put games but I enjoyed every minute of this one. Amazing theme and artwork that is perfectly implemented.
A good effort, just needs a little fine tuning here and there.
Glitches: 1.)If you click too quickly after catching an ectomorph you can bring it back and that can lead to some very frustrating kills.
2.) Ectomorphs can be caught while fading in or out of a room and the catch bar doesn't show when this happens making you try to land the catch blind.
Suggestions: 1.) Make the size of the catch bar dependent on the number of that specific ectomorph you have caught, and expand the size. Some of the ectomorphs where just annoying to catch...Tinkerbell.
2.) Adjust the required numbers for the later levels, I had to play the Cabin about 10 times which was rather agitating.

Is anyone else getting devastated by pirate units that manage to have all attacks miss until they pick up a gem? I had a pirate run past 3 Fearful Crypts, 2 Orcish Dens, 1 Den, 1 Crypt, another Fearful Crypt (on the other side of the board) and take two direct hits from meteors and it had no damage on it. As soon as it picked up the gem the 3 Fearful Crypts killed it.
There might not be a lag bug but rather a bug with the kill radius on the dice, it is larger then the image of the dice which leads to people dying when the dice is not touching them, very frustrating. This game would be slightly better if your overdose gauge was also a lifebar, and the pills were not randomly generated. Died way too many times because the pills did not show up.
This is a great game except for the last level which is not consistent. For some people it is as easy as the rest of the levels and for others it is impossible. In my case it has been impossible, my tanks randomly explode, no matter how many troops cross the first half of the field their is always another land mine to kill my officer. German Artillery would put modern artillery to shame, and somehow one Nazi officer can hold off two squads of Assault troops. It is nice to play a challenging game, however it is not entertaining to play an game that isimpossible to win or lose.
This game has some promise but suffers from an AI which behaves like a spoiled 3 year old. The more you win, the more it tires to unbalance the game, and it is done in a way which is just aggravating. I had a 7 man squad at wave 80, and got blitzed by a Panzer unit attack wave and an infantry attack wave, there was 12 enemy soldiers on the screen and a tank, real fun. Either fix the 'randomization' or give the AI a better attitude.
ArcanisX it is not the fault of the developers that Kongregate did not make badges for this game before you beat it, so it does not make sense to punish them by giving the game a low rating.
You will fail this game if you play an instrument. The commands are constantly off time with the music making the game play very akward. The game fustratingly does not register your hits the same way everytime, which leads to you hitting the key on time but the game saying you missed. There are peroids where the game just randomly decides that you will get no hits right no matter how well you play. My computer can run Crysis so I have no software or hardware issues, my browser is fully updated, this game is buggy.
