I installed Firefox just to play this series, and I'm glad I did. Absolutely marvelous from start to finish. The puzzles are intuitive and the story is so absorbing I played through all four parts in one sitting, like reading a book I couldn't put down.

Thank you! Thank you SO MUCH!
We pu all our efforts in this game, and we just hope you'll like our next adventures as well! :)
Did you already try "A Tale of Caos: Prologue?"
I feel like Rogue-likes really need some sort of story that is revealed piece by piece, like in Red Rogue. Or at least some sort of character development, like getting an occasional comment from the hero we're playing, maybe assigning a different personality to each class. That way, there's motivation other than completing challenges.
Thanks! I actually made a list of indie games dedicated to mental illness here: http://confessionsofateenagegamedevelop.blogspot.com/2013/05/games-for-people-with-mental-illness.html
Platforming from a first person perspective just doesn't work that well. After falling from the spiral staircase platforms for the fifth time, I called it quits because I wan't having fun.
This game makes me feel like I'm thick and I just don't get it. Unlike all of your previous games, I can't get through a single level without guesswork. Perhaps it's in need of better instructions or more hints. Even checking the comments didn't give me independence from the "guess and check" method, and when half a puzzle involves guessing it just doesn't feel as satisfying when you finish.
My only complaint is that the game is literally impossible without a walk through. Go back and fix the mistake you made with the compass puzzle, please!
Created a map with marks for all of the Shadow Orbs I was able to find, fireplaces, keys, locks and gears. Up-vote so this can stay alive!

Here's a map I created that marks all 50 Shadow Orbs, keys, locked doors, gems, and the room where you place the gems. Up-vote to keep this alive! http://i1185.photobucket.com/albums/z357/CandyCornHorns/Screenshot2012-01-04at52721PM.png
How has this been less popular than Coma? I love both games, but this one is certainly a "better" game. Longer, more challenging, and a more detailed story. I can't believe it has been over looked like this! Well, great job. I do hope you continue making such quality games.
This is a nice, simple game, but it's very promising! The characters are so cute. Perhaps next time you could make this a platformer of some sort? It might offer a more stimulating challenge.
Nothing too new, but fun nonetheless. I like how you get to chose good or evil. My only real complaint, and its a minor one, is that you have to be a guy. Apparently people in this world reproduce asexually because I've only encountered men so far. Still challenging and fun.
5/5; I do hope you make more games in the future!
You managed to get so creative with such a simple concept! The different classes and combinations of soldiers available really paid off. The game requires strategic thinking, but remains simple and fun by using such a bare-essentials battle system. The cute and simple style makes it charming and amusing. I give this a gold star!
