How does the Damage and Longevity modifiers for acid work? I assume Damage is the total damage done, over the time...but how does the Longevity improve the Acid?
Healing is broken. Random monster fight ended up being unfinishable, as they spammed Heal, and couldn't do enough damage to kill my monster. Put a timer on fights, or a cooldown on heals, or something. :D
It's not a bug that their base spawns a swarm of units. You need to be prepared for it. Know which units counter what, and build up a defense for their sudden swarm (mass of destroyers/cruisers wipe out bombers pretty effectively, for example)
If it's not loading, it's likely your browser, not this game. Happens to me from time to time; just exit the browser and start it up again. As for the game, pretty fun. Nice cut scenes. A bit easy: I used the starter pistol until I picked up the M4. Once I got the M4, it was super easy.
Campaign is pretty easy, if long and laggy at the end. You only need three weapons: pistol, shotgun, and satellite laser. 1) Upgrade ammo for pistol 1, buy 1 gunman. 2) Buy 2nd gunman. 3) Save up, then buy shotgun. 4) Save up for, then buy Flamer Joe (before round 6). Buy a repairman or two. 5) Buy 2 missile launchers. Upgrade missles/fire rate until they can handle swarms of infantry. Shotgun to death jeeps, occasional infantry that slips past missiles/Joe. 6) Sell Joe, buy laser tower. Max out towers, shotgun, buy more gunmen/repairmen. Eventually buy Satellite laser, and upgrade that completely. Spend remaining money on repairmen and gunmen. Use the satellite laser on tanks/big mecha, shotgun on kamikaze trucks.
Bug: Had a gun guy become completely unkillable, as he shot at my house. Lost on round 26 because of it.
Also: Combat Shotgun is worse than the regular shotgun. Would be nice if you could sell weapons.
Challenge 4 is futile. Either my shield dies, then the knight, or the knight dies first. I can't tell them not to move, and even when I do tell them to move somewhere, only *sometimes* do they do it. Half the time they seem to just spin in place while the dragon shoots at them. Excercise in frustration.
If one man gets thru and you lose 5-8 spots, it's prolly because you advanced, and left people on the screens behind you. Make sure you clear them before advancing.
Nice. Start a round with 4 paratroopers landing before my troops even appear. 3 dead before I fire a shot.
Good game, but some way to exit and restart (instead of waiting for that last man to die a horrible death) would be nice.
