Hey 0rava. You're a good developer, you know that? Some claim you don't listen to or even read the comments. From past experience, I know you do. You read feedback and then adjust the game accordingly if it seems like a good idea. The reason most Early Access games fail is because the creators don't care. They just wanna make a quick buck. Lemme just say, good job.
This game is really fun. The explosives make... well... explosions when they detonate. I once had a bunch of disembodied limbs, one of which was holding an axe.
The message on the third day, "Sed malis detraxit ad, ei vel unum prima dignissim, ad eum labitur antiopam. Fugit abhorreant pro id, voluptaria disputationi his id. At option reformidans quo, nam sint iriure democritum ea. Ad vim altera tincidunt, odio magna vim te. Sit ad cibo regione.", actually translates from latin to this: "However, the bad and dragged him to a primary asset, as it glides antiopam. Abhor the abbreviation for that is fled and voluptuous lands had to say, is timeless. At option reformidans which, for the things they are iriure Democritus. To the other developers, the big hate you. Let there be to the food of the field." I know it makes no sense, but still. Can anyone find the hidden message of this hidden message?
I can't believe SoulGame still responds. More developers (especially Early Access steam devs) need to be like you and 0rava. You guys change your game based on what the majority say. And actually fix bugs.
You lived a good 60 Second Life. Sure, you missed out on a few things. Maybe the things you desired were always just out of reach. Maybe you were undecisive. Nothing to grieve about though.
Most of the time, your lovelife was practically non-existent. But you still got lucky every now and then. You made decent money and your hard work paid off well. Sometimes you were a rather awkward person to be around with. Strange , maybe, but likeable. Hobbies, shmobbies. You obviously had better things to do in life. Maybe something else enriched your life more than any hobby ever could do.
I'm reposting this, because 19 people agreed with me and I didn't get a response. I see you remade the health system. The only parts that should drain health from the rest of the body should be items with the property, "Vital," which drains health from the rest of the lifeform. Blood being lost should damage the body, but I'm tired of shooting a doll's hand and it not losing that hand, simply because it drained blood from the rest of the body. Non-vital parts should run out of their own health before draining the rest. I really hope you implement this.
I have another idea.
In the past even catastrophic wounds weren't quite enough to cause the doll to bleed out in a reasonable amount of time so the blood flow between bodyparts was increased. The game does not differentiate between different types of Alive items, dolls are essentially a bunch of bags of blood connected together as far as the game is concerned, and it tries to balance their healths. Making a system like you suggest would require overhauling the whole bodypart/health system. I can try tweaking it so the balancing is not quite as instant is it currently is though.
0rava, I've said this before, but could you add a hazmat suit this Friday? Immune to radiation while suit is intact, resistant to poison and maybe immune to blight while the suit is intact.
Nobody has submitted models for a hazmat suit yet. I don't do most of the designs myself from scratch (because there are so many user-created models available I don't have to.) MaD Lab, the modeling tool for MaD2 is available publicly if you want to give it a shot yourself, or you can request it on the forums and maybe someone will be inspired and do it for you. Generally daily items are never done on the same week, I'm using older models that have been prepolished previously, and I'm only adding finishing touches to the models during the daily items events as well as implementing functionality.
Thanks!
