hey Erusano, good to hear that you want to develop a tower defense game. I would suggest the best way would be to get a book on “Actionscript 3” and learn it as much as possible. This link is suer to help you a lot:

But remember that that is in AS2 which is not as good as AS3. But the logic behind the game remains same.
