Holy crap. The response to ribnag's comment saved my sanity. I was playing on a 144Hz monitor, did not notice the "slow mode" message or anything, but the controls were so muddy and unresponsive. I had almost gotten used to it when I scrolled through and found that. Dragged the window over to my normal 60Hz screen and it plays beautifully. Whew!
Can't even go to the options to turn the sound off during the tutorial. P.S. I cannot sufficiently express how much I hate forced tutorials... especially when they're slapped on a self-playing P2W non-game.
Another one of these? Really? *sigh* I'm sure the developers are good, talented folks but... I don't think I can adequately express how disappointed I am every time one of these games shows up on the "Popular" list.
I'm normally very apprehensive about... liking.. a tower defense game, but you made it so. Congratulations. Read other good comments here for reasons why.
Rating the game down because of the comments seems very odd to me. Not very fair to the developers... just play the game before you read the comments next time.
I loved the nostalgic style. I'm not huge into crazy impossible platform puzzlers, but it was fun.
The one hugely attractive thing, for me, about this game... was the music. That's some incredibly tight, classic 8-bit sound you've got going on. The second level had me just sit there and listen.
