This has to be the worst designed, worst lagging, most annoying to play game I've ever played on here. It's not a skill game because of the lag and few attack options and their limited effectiveness. It's not a button masher because of the lopsided and inconsistent fight patterns and, again, the lag and limited effectiveness of attack. I dig the concept, but regret any and all time I spent trying to get the badges. For the time being, I hate this developer and Kongregate for their failure at life today.
Basic strategy if you're having trouble: buying armor maxes HP so time upgrading with when you need the HP, leveling up weapon quick helps a ton to prioritize that, don't automatically buy lifespan unless you're below 25 and don't see another one, an elixer as a backup for HP is great through divine edge does help with dragon a ton (though I killed dragons each run I did with an elixer).
Pros: surprisingly fun for how simple and luck based it is, easy to learn, quick and straightforward
Cons: once you max out armor your game is pretty much over since elixers aren't common enough to let you maintain HP, how attack speed factors in isn't obvious (does it upgrade?), possibly too simple (but that just means great potential for the sequel)
Man, I was ticked at this game... then I read the blog posts... now I'm amazed the program pulls of consistent statistical improbabilities. I need to take this program to vegas.
quick hint for those having trouble on 12
think of it this way, if you attack neutral cells, then you lose units and neutral loses units... if you attack the computer, then you and the computer lose units... thus if you think about it, there is a balance that results in the computer losing units faster than you while occupying cells
So far it seems the best tactic is to maneuver and swap until the other person gets bored and quits.
Also, whoever drew the character cards has a serious breast fetish.
this game has serious issues, keeps causing serious lag after I play it and my "best so far" # of frames won't update no matter how quick I beat it (fastest yet <2min.) Lame.
