Sometimes it's hard to tell when an upgrade has been purchased or not. I would recommend either making the unpurchased upgrades a very different color or just roll the cost of the upgrade into that last level required so you get it all at once.
I think that the number of planets being fully upgraded should give some kind of boost. Either once you fully upgrade the planet it gets a massive output boost, or the number of maxed planets has some impact upon a reset. There should be some benefit to it other than completion itself.
it would be great if you could reset your use of meta. I accidentally left "max" on and blew all of my meta in one place and have no "oops" or rest option.
DEV: can you highlight skills or perhaps make them standout in some way (separate pane?) so we can tell the skills that are one time benefits vice always on benefits? For example some skills continue to grow with you (% boost based upon # of achievements), while others appear to be static, such that when you click them that is the only benefit you get (power miner). It would be nice to know which are which visually.
If you buy power clicker or power miner skills, do they grow with you or is it a one-time deal? I noticed that if I buy them when a boost is active, they go back down once the boost is over. If they grow with you, then there is no reason not to use them right away, but if they don't, it's best to save them. Can the dev comment?
could you have a slight speed increase for the number of green gems found? Something to make the grinding a little easier. It still takes time to progress through the first 200 levels, even with 1000 green gems. Something to make that quicker would be nice. Another option would be to not wait for the item drops or gold to be collected before new creatures appear?
Alternative is that you work on all jobs/hobbies at the same time and the time slots, just expand how quickly you work overall. However, you can limit your jobs/hobbies to just a few, which cause them to progress much faster. For example say on all 12 skills you progress at a rate of 10 ea when doing all together. If you focus on just one skill, it goes at a rate of 120 ea. Same thing for jobs. It would allow you to earn some skills at higher levels without killing yourself.
There ought to be a way to gain multiplier bonuses that doesn't strictly relate to achievement unlocks with the girls. Perhaps .25 multiplier for every 1M earned or similar. Otherwise it's crazy long to earn any skill to a meaningful level. Also, since you give people a chance to effectively waste gems by subbing for money, there ought to be more ways to earn gems.
I have had a number of times where I have opened the window and there was no little to no advancement in the amount of money I had. I don't know why this happens, but it's often enough that it really sucks. Sad when you come back after 12 hours and there is NO advancement. I can't leave the window open, because it appears to crash/hang after a while. Chrome, very new computer.
A few things I learned after playing for a while that made this game a whole lot easier. Upgrade everything you can on every screen. As new screens become available, you can upgrade the critters on each page, who will continue to produce coins, even when you're not on the page. Upgrade the tree first page when you can, it makes a huge difference.
