It's not really a joke, it's just an episode of a T.V. show. A guy dies and he goes to "heaven". He can have everything he wants and wins every single thing he does. In the end he realizes it's hell because you get so bored of it after a while.
Does this means that it won't really happen until the summer? The sequel sounds awesome, just make sure you keep your awesome stories and the great battle system (don't go *too* far from it).
Like I said, I can help you if you need it.
Alright, well if there's anything I can do to help, let me know (programming though, I'm terrible art).
Also, how do you use strength potions? When I buy them it doesn't seem like they go anywhere.
I love this game, it's definitely one of my favorite games on Kongregate. The battle system needs just a bit more variety, but you are a creative writer, so the story is great. I can't wait until the sequel!
It's a very good game, I like the concept a lot. The sound effects weren't very good, maybe if you had them differ in pitch randomly/non-randomly it would make them better. I wish the sliding was faster though, like night_stalker. Graphic wise, I think the main sprite was missing something. The colors of it didn't go very well. Everything else was pretty great graphically, though, I thought. The backgrounds were especially interesting. You should add an option to download the background as a desktop background once someone beats the level -- that would add some incentive! The difficulty of the levels was pretty insane. Level 5 is impossible, and usually it takes until level 25 for players to be stumped in puzzle games. I'm not saying that you should change it, just pointing it out as something new in the puzzle game genre.
Great game, I loved it! =)
I found an error. If you click someone's name in the Nonoba chat (we were both logged in with our Nonoba accounts, it goes to a.kongregate.com/USERNAME_HERE in the game window.
(I had to split my comments up because it was over the 1,000 character limit.)
This game probably doesn't belong in the puzzle category, but I guess that doesn't matter all that much. It's not really a new idea, but I do think that the game was done well. The graphics were nice, and the sound was good and not repetitive at all (though like rdmeeker said, a mute button would be good). Along with a mute button, though, you'll want to add in a pause button. I think that the space bar would be good for that, seeing as you can't use P, and in later levels you can't take the time to click on a pause button or a few letters will get by. The game also shouldn't count incorrect keys from non alphabetic keys, like the arrow keys or caps lock. I also think the game difficulty curve increased too fast.
Once you get past a few levels (which are very slow and boring at first, add an option to start at level x, please) even moderately fast typers (yes, I'm considering myself one) start to fall behind and come to a quick watery demise.
At the game over screen you aren't very specific about how much damage those incorrect keys did to your score. Could you add a feature that shows how many points you lost because of your mistakes? I understand that this game was made a while ago and you probably aren't interested in going back to it, but this comment is just here if you'd like it.
