Bugs (Cont.):
-Key registering. This is painfully obvious. Too many times to count, words simply didn't register my keystrokes, which resulted in unnecessary flashbombs, shurikens, and me cursing -you- and my screen. I had no lag to speak of, that was a non-issue in regards to this bug.
To add for the developer:
Next time, play the game before you release it. The bugs are pretty blatant but I'll list my experiences here.
-Some ninjas, actually I think for me it was always a flash ninja, continues running and flashes after his word has been typed.
-Some dead ninjas continue to slide into the temple and thus, take off health.
-Shurikens are way too powerful. The effect is... annoying but, wouldn't be so much if they ninjas kept running like everyone else. Toss a shuriken and make for the temple. Shuriken ninjas don't do that.
-Stage three mob. One too many arrow keys pressed and you lose the entire stage. Give people a break, you ask them to slam on the keys afterall.
-Have yet to be able to decipher what you mean on Stage five. I've hit the correct arrow when the black dot is where you say it should be, and I lose every time. I'm not all about repeating stages several times or more because of an extremely finnicky QTE at the end.
Level three was... I can't say the words on Kong. Way to make me tap buttons rapidly, then because I wasn't psychic and didn't see that I had to tap space immediately as soon as it flashed on screen, one extra arrow key cancels the WHOLE attack and I lose. This game deserves to be in the trash bin. 0/5.
It's trying to be peggle, but isn't quite getting there. Still, it's a decently made game so I'll give it a 3/5 for effort. Better than a lot of other stuff I see here on Kong.
Too much reliance on chance in what tries to pass off as a puzzle game. 1/5, because puzzles don't intentionally come in some sets where it's impossible to beat them.
I can't keep up with the pace enough to even formulate any kind of fair opinion on it, so it gets a 1/5. Maybe you have to be a sugar-infused Xbox kiddie to enjoy something like this.
I want like half an hour of my life back. MID-FIGHT with the boss I get a game over for no reason. I still had buildings left. What the HELL. 0/5, please fix this crap game.
I love this game for all the interesting and sometimes mindbending artwork of each picture. The differences are subtle, but not too much to be frustrated (at least for me). /badge and 5/5. :D
I wish lag had been my problem with this game. Instead it was the incredibly awful AI that made this very un-fun to play. Easy badge gotten, and I don't even care about the hard one. I'm done.
Badges gotten. Another game I'll never play again.
Music made me go "What the hell am I listening to?" The voice acting was ok in my opinion, but my bigger beefs with the game are power-ups that are way too similar in size and shape to debris at a peripherial glance, and the way enemies spawn in mid-map, often next to or under you.
Oh, and the multiplier system is pointless. Anyone who gets a high multiplier without getting hit and losing it all, needs to find a better game to spend hours on. 3/5 for effort.
While I can respect the challenges put forth by the game, there are issues here that made the game a pain in the neck to complete. Darts take too long to reload after hitting a wall, the sound effects got under my skin after the 10th level or so, and in general... I couldn't bring myself to find this at all fun despite trying as hard as I could. Another case of grab the badge and never play again for me.
Wow.
Just wow. This game is incredibly terrible. It wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't actually taking itself so seriously. The aiming wouldn't be bad if the recoil wasn't ridiculous, and the whole energy bar is completely useless and causes you to be mauled by gunless freaks who still manage to carry ammunition with them. Twice i've missed a jump and took a fatal fall because of the pointless energy bar being depleted and keeping you from jumping.
1/5. I'm not even interested in the badge anymore.
