Wow! Without touching the controls, I cleared 2 regions, travelling over 70,000!(70,000 what, I don't know, but...) Anyone else get better not touching the controls...
"Ensign, what's our status?"
"Well, sir, we've got blasters and mortars surrounding all Creeper emmiter ports, enough speed packets to ensure near instantaneous packet transfer, enough storage units to give us over 900 surplus energy, and enough reactors to give us nearly 50 power output. What are your orders?"
"Well, son, it's time to get the f**k out of here. Hit the totems."
"........ What? Why? We've got it all contained, we can just stay here!"
"Son, when you're older, you'll learn it's not your place to question orders, now do it."
O.K., I didn't really want to be that guy who can't figure out the simple thing, but how exactly do you execute a patsy from the meeting room? I think I've tried all the buttons I can see, and I'm just not sure how to do it.
Dec 5 level half hour in, all emmiters pretty well controlled, I decide to hit the survival button. First, though, I build up something like a hundred(or so, totally guesstimating here) blasters and a few dozen mortars, with seven or eight SAMs on the border, and hit it. Let me tell you, the lag alone nearly killed me a couple times, but I constantly moved replacement blasters and mortars in place, and managed to hold the creeper off for another 28 minutes, with emmiters at around 250, when I went ahead and reactivated the totem energy in Odin. Gorram, I'm not trying that again.
Although, the only thing this game need is an option to watch the vast network you just made fall to the relentless advance of the creeper. That would be fun to see.
*looks at the vast network you just built*
Ah, a good job. Ooh, mails here. I'll just go get it.
*leaves for a minute and a half, comes back, Odin City is taking damage*
DAMMIT, WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?? Crap, crap, crap.... O.k., o.k., o.k., I can save this, I CAN SAVE IT!!!
*10 seconds later*
Nope. Couldn't save it.
77 minutes to activate the portal on the virus level, and the only thought as Odin vanishes is, "Damn. I'm gonna miss that massive infrastructure I've made."
@djkuula: Something that might help. First, reset your upgrades. Then get the full aerodynamics, and then the Royal Lineage upgrades. Don't get the Homing Beacon or Rabbit's Foot; without those, and with the first few, you can slip between the regular strays, and aim for the swans a lot easier.
Fun tower defense game, only things it needs are a speed up button, and some way to cancel turret placement. Or, am I just being dense on that last one?
