The "Trick" is to get a mine from the start, jump you're way all the way to the wall that blocks the finish. Lay the mine, walk into it with your back faing the wall - and you SHOULD go through it, hitting the finish box.
I was playing this last night, and I got as far as rescuing your dead friends spirit and had to quit - shame there's no save function. I love games in the retro style and this is great - but the music is a step above - which I think gels really well. I'll give it 4/5 just for a lack of saving - but a truly fantastic game.
