In terms of moon leveling, because none of the businesses are really useful except for the Oxygen Bar and Cheese Mines, when you're playing the early stretch of it you end up with a GIANT gap between things you can and actually WOULD spend angels on. Namely, 11,000 for the x3 profits allllllll the way to 666 million for Oxygen Bar x3. Really need some gap fillers in my opinion, there is just nothing changing for a LONG time.
I do really like the core of this game so far. It's a pretty fun take of an idle game. I hadn't tried it out until after this latest patch, and it is pretty rough going early on, in terms of not feeling any more powerful after reincarnating. Perhaps a tweak for this could be in stealing a bit from Clicker Heroes and having unspent jade orbs be worth +2-5% of some stat?
Love the game. Maybe the girlfriend could not get pissed at me when I'm playing for my country. Considering I don't get paid and therefore can't afford to get energy drinks to recover from buying here a gift.
Them following my mouse is ungodly annoying. Having to throw them around the screen to just click the trainer (which of course I have to do 140,000 times per map) or feed the one I'm actually trying to feed is just flat irritating.
I really enjoyed it personally. For the people complaining that it's not like Epic War 1 or 2, there are some pretty good games like those, they're called Epic War 1 and 2. I enjoyed this game as a game.
Just some thoughts on having beaten it a few times now: 1) A General exp pool would be nice, so I don't have to run out some weak guys with my good ones just for the sake of completion. 2) Units specific to each hero's path (unlocking in one path unlocks them for all, but each requires its own hero's campaign to progress to a certain point to use, so there's a point in playing more than one campaign. 3) I like the accessories idea, it can be expanded. A guaranteed piece and a diceroll for a 40% shot at a second piece (either weaker or stronger and maybe not level specific). 4) Having a main camp in the fortress felt more... correct to me. It also made the hero a lot more useful, I think that should return. Great game overall though, still 5/5 and fav.
Co-Pilot: "If we fly directly into the hurricane we risk our own lives, the lives of every crewman aboard, and all our passengers... but I think we can hit those birds."
Pilot: "...worth it."
Your work has come a long way. It's kind of cute to see where it came from, being that jmt's games are so popular now, but I certainly wouldn't be introducing anyone to the series via this one. Fun enough, got the badge, but I felt really clunky and uncomfortably out of control of my character. The loveable randomness was certainly present though.
Really good game, the story was a lot of fun to polish off, gotta love a good YALORT mention too. Only thing for me is that clearing the history is a lot more difficult than it seems like it needs to be.
Not a big commenter, but this game was worth it. Been on Kongregate for years and this is easily my favorite game. Great mix of simple game-play, fun use of old graphics, and an actual interesting story. Games like this one, The Majesty of Colors, The Company of Myself, How to Raise a Dragon, and quite a few others really do deserve their own category, maybe Story-Driven? Anyways, a shout-out for being the only game on this site worth replaying every few weeks for well over a year.
